A group of twelve teenagers who were loitering around in Barcelona’s Raval district at 12:30 pm were stopped by a group of Mossos agents. The group broke two orders of the region’s lockdown measures; out after curfew and double the allowed number of people gathering together.
However, the unnecessarily excessive use of force used by one Police officer to arrest a teenager caught on video by a brave citizen, has raised attention and an investigation into the incident started on Monday.

Mainstream Media outlets remain quiet on this matter as it had been the case during the harsh lockdown in Spring, where many cases of Police Brutality was recorded and shared on Social Media, a fact that is disheartening.
The far-left coalition of the PSOE and Podemos, lead by Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez was opposed to the so called “gag-law” that wouldn’t allow citizens to film Police Officers, but backtracked from the intended reform.
